Photos of Twin Peaks (San Francisco)

City glowing in twilight by PeterThoeny

Thank you for visiting, commenting and fav'ing - very much appreciated! Press "F" if you like it! Taken at the Twin Peaks overlooking San Francisco about 45 min after sunset. We walked down on the grassy slope to get a good point of view of the curvy road in the foreground and downtown in the background. The brightly lit street is Market Street. I used an NDR filter for this long time exposure. An ND filter is supposed to reduce the light evenly on the whole color spectrum, but it looks like there is a red tint in low light/long exposure condition. I think it adds some interesting flair to the scene. I processed the 30 sec exposure into a balanced HDR photo. -- © Peter Thoeny, CC BY-NC-SA 4.0, HDR, 1 RAW exposure, NEX-6, _DSC3611_hdr1bal1nd8b
