Like a breath of fresh air. Definitely check out the book shop near the front - floor plans of the museum are on sale for less than $2

Lovely fabulous architecture by "Kamran Diba". The galleries were designed in such a way that light enters through windows that are reminiscent of the famed wind-catchers in the ancient city of Yazd.

I used to visit this place more in my student hood, yet it is sacred place for me. I've seen the best paintings of the world here, thanks to Queen Farah Diba who has gathered a great collection here.
